The Book.

This is not just a book. It’s a journey — a story about life, captured in frames and words. It’s about the little details we often miss, the emotions we carry, and the dreams we hold onto.
I photographed fleeting moments across Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Morocco, Turkey, and beyond. What connects these places is not geography, but emotion - the quiet details, faces, gestures, and stories we often pass without noticing.
The book is large - 23.5 x 31 cm - as it should be. It’s meant to feel substantial, like the stories it tells.
Inside, you will find 224 pages of black-and-white photography, paired with thoughts, memories, and reflections that may remind you of your own life.
It is a collection of moments - mine, and maybe yours too.

This project took ten years of travel, photography, writing, and editing.

The Story.

This book is for those who are able to dream and those who want to.
The main goal is to share my photos — and my thoughts about why I photograph — with an audience larger than my friends and my laptop.

My idea is simple. I wanted to express my vision and gather my most powerful shots, my favorite photographs and a large part of my life in one book. A photograph must be printed. I want to hold this book in my hands. To feel that I had taken those shots for a reason.

This book is for those who have the desire to notice details.
Like an Instagram feed. It consists of short entries about life, motivational phrases, thoughts and impulses to pause and ponder. A narrative that starts in childhood and takes you through adolescence and the formation of character.
About that very photograph of mine that was just an idea, but became reality seven years later. About how ideas and goals give a person the drive to evolve. They materialize if you think, dream and act. About those stories you may connect to your own life.
Whatever I wished to say with words, I said through photography. You will find yourself in the photos.

The book follows two interconnected stories, unfolding across a decade of my life.

The first storyline is about my favourite shot. One photograph, seven years in the making, became the spark for this book. It wasn’t just an image; it was a reflection of who I am — a mirror of my emotions and character during a transformative time.
This image inspired me to delve deeper into the connection between photography and the stories we live.

The second storyline is about life. The moments that everybody has experienced in real life. Within the pages, alongside photographs of strangers on the streets, you'll discover a brief reflection of yourself with help of motivating notes, simple lyrics, and profound thoughts.
The book invites you to reconnect with moments you may have forgotten: childhood, ambition, first achievements, creative obsession, loneliness, travel, friendship, love, and the private universe only you understand.

It is not only about my photographs. It is about the memories and associations they may awaken in you.

When an idea becomes an obsession, it starts to shape reality.

Why This Book?

This book is for dreamers – those who understand the power of imagination in shaping our unique life journeys.
We build our lives from ideas, desires, memories, and associations. We see something, we imagine something, and slowly we begin to move toward it. Illusions are not always false. Sometimes they are the first shape of reality.
That is why the book is built around three words: Illusions, Associations, and Reality.

Through photographs, short notes, and simple lyrical fragments, the book invites you to notice what usually stays unnoticed - gestures, faces, shadows, emotions, and the small details that make life feel real.

Photography started as a way to capture the world around me. Over time, it became something deeper - a way to understand the world, and myself within it.
I bought my first professional camera in 2010 and earned my living with it for four years. Since 2015, photography has become my hobbyand a lifelong passion.
Years ago, I left my hometown of Kharkiv, Ukraine, and moved to Geneva, Switzerland. Along the way, photography and I parted ways for a while, but it never truly left me. Street photography brought me back. It reminded me of why I started—why I couldn’t stop.
My work has been featured by National Geographic, Skippers Sailing Magazine, Life Framer, and several Ukrainian publications.
My favorite genres are documentary and street photography. There is life in it. I love traveling — different countries, cities, streets, different people, different faces. I love looking for stories and connections.
I consider myself one of those who are called “creative entrepreneurs” — I never get tired of inventing new things and striving to implement these new things in reality.
